Oh man, so much has happened since I posted last. I cant even remember what I had posted. These last few months have been wonderful!! We got our baby's room renovated, we purchased our carseat/stroller set and we recieved a MamaRoo swing from Uncle Kent.
Our darling little lady was born on Thursday July 7th, 2011 at 3:54pm. She weighs 8lbs and 2 oz and is 20.5 inches long. We guessed we were having a boy but God gave us a perfect little girl. She is so wonderful!! I had a very good labor and delivery- my epidurals didnt take so I was able to feel everything. I wouldnt change that because I now know that I can do it. Without Ryan and God I think I would have been a disaster but I had the most wonderful helpers. Even mom got to take her turn when my hubby needed a break. We had the most incredible team helping us. They were patient and understanding even when I was having my moments. We are now the very proud parents of Miss ASHLEY EMMA TANNINEN. She is the most adorable little creature we have layed eyes on and we are thankful for her. She is a very wonderful girl who looks very much like her daddy. She is mellow and an easy keeper. She is very loving to her daddy and responds quickly to his voice, his heartbeat and his snuggles.
We spent one night back in the hospital 2 days after we were released to treat Ashley for jaundice. Mommy and Daddy didnt care one bit for the pku poke or the jaundice bloodwork pokes but we all survived.
Our company left sunday, Grandma and Grandpa W were here and Uncle Kent. Was a fabulous 2 weeks with Grandma and an awesome weekend with Grandpa and Kent. Now its back to reality and to getting into the swing of things with our new addition.
We feel truly blessed and are thankful for everything in our lives.

February 2011
Well, February is starting out with a bang! First church meetings which were precious and appreciated. Then the snow....................... nearly a foot over night! I love it!! Winter has its ups and downs and the only down I see is skiing!! lol! Just kidding-me and our baby bump will not be going skiing with Ryan in Revelstoke, but will be going to WA to visit! I can hardly wait. It will be the first time since becoming pregnant that I have been away from Ryan so we will see if I manage. I'll post photos when I return. Enjoy winter cause soon it will be done and I'll have to hear the complaints about it being SO HOT. Oh, and we are nearly half way baking our bun in the oven- I'll have to post photos of my belly soon too!

Baby's Heartbeat
Oh my gravy!! We heard our wittle peanuts heartbeat last night and it was awesome!! Twice now we have tried and baby was keeping it a secret. Last night however...we heard it LOUD and CLEAR. Ryan beamed and I cried. He recorded it on his phone and sent it to me so now we both can hear it. What a relief if was for me- I get anxious with this one. We've been waiting for a while and with the 2 miscarraiges last spring this one is sinking in that we will get to meet this one here on earth if everything goes as well as it has been. Ryan and I have been so blessed in these 7 years of marriage. So many blessings have been sent our way- we are thankful. Looking forward to next month with rest and relaxation and our ULTRASOUND!! We've decided to not find out what we are having, what ever God has sent our way... we will gladly accept. Keep us in your prayers.
